This mural is a double anamorphosis, meaning that viewers will have two specific points of view from which they can see the intended perspectives. The mural interacts with the viewer by allowing them to discover how it transforms as they pass by, conveying the intersection of art and technology at a scale that will encourage continued interaction and reflection.
Cinta Vidal is a world-renowned, Barcelona-based painter and scenographer. After studying at Escola Massana in Barcelona when she was 16, she became an apprentice in a scenography workshop called Castells Planas where she learned the art of scenography and backdrops from mentors Josep and Jordi Castells.
When she is not painting large-scale backdrops for European and international theatre companies, she produces her own colossal paintings that often experiment with gravity to express the impossibility of seeing the world from a single point of view.
